A family in River Vale is looking for an adventurous nanny for their 2-year-old son newborn (due in February). Mom and Dad are planning to grow their family! The typical schedule for this home will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 5:30 pm, with the possibility to gain more hours for occasional date nights.
Duties include:
Duties for this home include cooking and preparing basic meals and snacks for the child, doing the child’s laundry, and basic tidying up after him. Letting the dog outside into the backyard when needed would be appreciated! Infant care once the baby arrives.
Ideal nanny:
The ideal nanny for this home is comfortable around water and has a driver’s license. They are active, attentive and love the outdoors. Looking for someone who is patient, super loving, and not afraid to be goofy! Nanny must be a non-smoker due to the child’s reactive airways and compromised immune system. The ideal nanny is open to doing occasional later evenings, providing date night care, and even travelling (on rare occasions) with this loving family. Bilingual (Spanish) speakers are preferred, but not required.
About the children:
This spirited 2-year-old is very active and needs someone who can keep up with him! He loves being outside in all types of weather and loves spotting trains. He loves Disney movies (especially Cars) and all things music. He is cuddly, smart, inquisitive, very outgoing, and has a great sense of direction. He is described as “the life of the party”. He may be shy at first, but once he warms up, he will be your little bestie! Newborn care will be here come February.
About the parents:
Mom and Dad are hardworking, supportive, loving, and find the good in everyone! They do their best to maintain a balance in all areas of life, especially when it comes to family time. Both parents are vaccinated for COVID-19. Their discipline structure includes redirection and talking the child through challenging times.
